Teambuildr Program

“As technology continues to advance in education and health we want EHS to be a pioneer in the newest technology in the strength and conditioning field”, shared Darrin Fisher, the weight teacher at Eisenhower High School. In his classes, he currently utilized an app called Teambuildr that has been a great asset during the pandemic and has allowed students to post workouts, track workout volume, track maxes, and utilize teaching methods through video recording. 

With Fisher’s Innovative Teacher Grant, he was able to purchase tablets to safely allow students to track their progress and maintain focus on the exercise rather than using their own devices to utilize the Teambuildr program. With an average of 50 students for each class and 7 classes a day, this technology will allow students to set goals, track their progress, and achieve their goals across all of Fisher’s classes. Seeing the progress and drive of his students as they set and achieve goals is one of the reasons Mr. Fisher is thankful for opportunities like Innovative Teacher Grants to help support the students of Goddard Public Schools.
