Social Emotional Learning

It is easy to take for granted the ability to process our feelings.

We are grateful to have teachers in Goddard Public Schools like Rachel Dodge, Clark Davidson Elementary Early Childhood teacher. Rachel has researched to find tools to use in her classroom that will help her students navigate through learning about their emotions.

She said, “The implementation of social emotional learning will impact each student in all facets of life. Students will learn how to manage emotions, deal with different social situations, take turns, accept losing and negotiate conflict. Establishing strong social/emotional skills when they are young will help them both in their educational development as well as their ability to adapt to different situations outside of school.”

Thank you to everyone who has donated to the Goddard Education Foundation. YOU are changing USD 265 each day by your contribution that is directly helping student to have better lives.
