Chollet Bucl and her early childhood team at Explorer Elementary School are finding new ways to connect with their students and provide specifically directed programs for the different needs in the classroom. Multisensory teaching techniques are important because they stimulate the brain in a variety of ways so that each sensory system becomes more developed and high functioning.  

So how does it work? Chollet sets up a rotation of different activities that help with things like hand eye coordination, letter recognition, hand strengthening and so much more. The students get several minutes at each station and then they rotate to the next. This not only keeps the student engaged but allows for each student to practice a new skill.
