Innovation, Inspiration and Impact

Art classes at Goddard High School are lighting up with the teacher grant Jennifer Chism recently received from the Goddard Education Foundation.  She is implementing some new instruments in her Photo Imaging classes. Students will use lighting equipment to learn professional portrait lighting techniques with both traditional and new LED ring lighting. Students can experiment with each type of lighting and combine the lights for different options.

One of the most important aspects of photography is understanding portrait lighting. It is very difficult to become a successful photographer if you do not know how to photograph people.

Jennifer said, “Photo Imaging classes are always full as many careers use photography and these skills can help anyone.”

Thank you to each of our Goddard Education Foundation donors. You’re lighting up Goddard Public Schools one class at a time!
