Brad Zubke, 6^th grade Social Studies teacher at Challenger Intermediate School has brought in two standing desks into his classroom. He says, “Over the past four years, I have opened my classroom up for flexible seating options. I have used yoga balls, wobble stools and chair frames for those who want to sit on the floor. This allows students who are sitting ability for movement. I am now ready to accommodate those students who work best when having the option to stand and complete assignments. Standing helps reduce fatigue, and keep the mind alert so they are producing their best work!”
